Four-pair copper cable is high performing, compliant with IEC 61156-5:2013 (ed. 2.1), and EN 50288-10-1: 2012. The Cat.6 UTP cable is made up of four pairs of colour-coded solidcopper wires, surrounded by an outer flame-retardant
jacket. The cable meets industry standards for low-voltage networks to transfer voice, data, and video signals. Applications include IEEE 802.3 standards for 10 Mb to 1 Gb networks. It is also applicable to IEEE 802.3af POE and 802.3at POE+ and ATM LAN 1.2 Gb systems.

A common mistake companies make is to have a combative relationship with their suppliers and vendors. That is the opposite of what you want to do.
