Turning Gratitude into Support: Wood Communications’ Festive Donation Initiative
As we settle into the new year, the team at Wood Communications has been reflecting on a meaningful end to 2025. This past Christmas, we made the decision to celebrate the festive season differently by transforming our corporate gift budget into direct support for those who need it most.
Instead of sending the customary bottles of wine or hampers to our clients and partners, we donated the full budget to three incredible charities that hold a special place in our hearts.
Supporting Vital Causes
We are proud to have directed these funds to the following organisations:
• The Alzheimer Society of Ireland: Providing essential dementia specific services and advocacy.
• LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice: Offering palliative care and support for children with life limiting conditions.
• Ronald McDonald House: keeping families close by providing accommodation for parents of seriously ill children in hospital.
A Message of Thanks
Our goal was to express our appreciation for our business partners in a way that carried a positive impact far beyond a single moment. By directing these funds to charity, we hope to have provided some comfort to the families who rely on the vital care these teams provide.
