WoodComms Wins an Award!
WoodComms are back from a successful trip to Berlin in which our team were delighted to pick up the: Distributor Award for Most Revenue Growth in 2022 from Corning Inc.
Recognition Speech on the day by Corning Inc. – Wood Communications Ireland:
“Although we have known this distributor for many years we finally came together as business partners through the 3M CMD integration back in 2017.
This business was initially focused on the LAN market and based around our copper solutions, however, 2021 was somewhat of a breakthrough year where Corning also became the preferred fibre brand.
This organization is a great partner for Corning since they take pride in looking after their customers, they are collaborative by nature, enthusiastic, passionate about technology, responsive and agile.
Our relationship with this distribution partner has gone from strength to strength somewhat helped by the doughnuts delivered to them by their local Corning representative on many of his frequent visits.
Our business together now spans both LAN and Data Centre markets and in 2021 this Irish distribution partner grew their business with Corning by almost 3x. A fantastic achievement in what is still somewhat of an uncertain market.
And therefore , the first award in the Revenue Growth Category goes to the team at Wood Communications Ireland represented here today by Managing Director Keith Mahony and Sales and Ops Director Derek Finlay.”
